"The
Kittens make a garage pop noise that sounds like all the
fragments of kool culture banging together in your head. They
combine a gutter DIY philosophy with a whimsy that can leave
the listener as happy as a summer's day. Pop, Mak, Ng and Garcia
aren't so much tongue in cheek about their simplicity as they
are true believers. Like a cuddly tribe of religious zealots,
they have burnt out all the useless bits in their smartypants
songs, leaving nothing but the ecstacy. Meow. " - IN Magazine |

El
Mak likes holidays cause school
is closed. She likes to play cards for laundry money. She wishes
she was left handed and sometimes gets caught trying to write
that way. She is allergic to misquito bites and coffee. She loves
hot chocolate and tea. She loves tennis and skiing. She dreams
of going to Easter Island but is afraid of the small plane. She
does funny impressions of the Kittens and cracks them up at rehearsals. |

Katherine
Ng could use more practice juggling
balls, diabolos, devil sticks, and drum sticks, but juggling
time seems to be the most difficult. When she's not teaching
art or preparing for a bookmaking workshop, she likes to play
with Legos, create origami, read (recommendations: The Da Vinci
Code by Dan Brown, A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket),
eat sushi or Thai food and spend quality time with her cats. |
